The unfortunate reality is that apathy among men is too high. I work with the type of people who just shrug these things off more so as a "man shouldn't be allowing himself to get caught" rather than "this guy is a scumbag, good riddance." Type of people to say "I know he is a bad person but god damn he's good, glad he's on my team."

The type of people to call Mahomes' wife all sorts of things before they would ever call a rapist an awful person.

We really should be less forgiving for rape as a society, but we aren't.

Or was it just all of my schools? It was always blatantly obvious to me that if you're an athlete who is even half-way competent at your sport you can get away with murder.

Because it's NFL season, the Browns just won on TV today, and it reminds me that the Browns gave him the most guaranteed money in history and specifically structured his contract to minimize the impact of his suspension. And there have been an amount of... questionable calls going in the Browns favor in crucial situations this season.

Without knowing (exactly) what happened between Groper Cleveland and (each of) the massage girls, calling him a rapist feels unfair.
