Like, it has the clear references such as lodge rooms that look exactly like Coop's at the Great Northern. But it also has similar story beats to The Return and just has that kind of presentation and tone throughout. AW2 has a lot more internal monologuing.

I honestly didn't like playing the first Alan Wake. I don't think I ever finished it, but I watched someone play it recently.
