Not counting Donkey Kong for now since that specific character debuted in DKC. Obviously the word "solo" might not be fully accurate, but obviously this includes anything Yoshi's Island, etc.

Wario
Yoshis Island is for sure the very best game from the list, and arguably the best Mario game period. But most other Yoshi games are mediocre at best.
