Baton Pass is your best friend, to the point where anyone who hasn't unlocked it yet is a liability.
Also, unlike dungeons in Persona 4, you can never finish story dungeons in a single day. Keep in mind you'll need 3 days to finish the dungeon, at least. having only played P3FES, P4G, Devil Survivor and P5, P5 is the best in the SMT universe IMO

If you're experienced with P3 and P4, there isn't much new you'll discover in P5. Basically everything from those games, but polished to a fine shine.
