The trex guys aren't difficult, just take a bit to kill, the crocodiles aren't too bad. Those fucking stormbirds though....

I gotta like, the them down with the ropecaster then use my shadow hunter bow's stronger arrows to take out it's components, starting with the goddamn lightning cannon.

Good fights, but still fuck them lol. Always knocking me off my damn horse when I'm trying to get somewhere.

Glinthawks? Fire arrows.

Stormbird? Freeze arrows then lol then with sharp shot hits.

Fast-track the..what is it..Triple Arrow notching skill thing. That lets you fire 3 arrows at once; shreds through things so nicely.

IIRC I usually froze them then used that machine gun thing. That rips apart most of the big robots.

By the endgame I was able to deal with anything in short fashion but reading this topic has made me realize just how much I've already forgotten and now I'm kinda dreading the thought the upcoming DLC is probably gonna kick my ass.

For the storm birds I would use the ropecaster to tie them down, then hit them with three shots from the blast sling. Then as soon as it's free I would tie it down again and repeat.

Edit: now that I think about I think my routine was to tie it down, use tear blast arrows for the more dangerous weapons, tie it back down and hit it with the blast sling. Then from there just keep tying it down and hitting with the blast sling.

But seriously you can just farm that one Hunting Ground with the Thunderjaw >_>

Yeah it's literally like 10 feet from the fire, and often has a patrol of sun soldiers who jump in on the fight to help, and you have lots of rocky areas to use as cover.
