On the Bloodborne board some time ago, I made a topic titled, "Quoth the raven" then the opening post was ~ "RAWWRGHSNARLGHRAWRG"

It was modded for off-topic.

For those who haven't played Bloodborne, there's an enemy that is a large raven that scoots around on the ground. They show up first in the first area of the game. And they make the most...jarringly beast-like, loud, bizarre snarly noises.

So, it was a fun joke on that. Everyone who has played Bloodborne for like, an hour or more, would get the joke. It really has no place on any other board, because only the Bloodborne board would have nothing but people who get the reference.

I contested it, and the mod upheld it and basically said it's not clear enough that it was about the game, which is clearly proven by the fact someone marked it so SOMEONE must have been confused (when in actuality there were some extremely vindictive, harassing trolls on the board at the time who had issues with me, and they undoubtedly marked it as a form of harassment/spite, which is something users just do sometimes).

And no I'm not leaving anything out. The entirety of the topic was what I said the topic title was, and the opening post.

So I mean, I was definitely not trying to get modded when I got modded for that. And when it got upheld, man did I lose more faith in the moderation system. >_>

Nope, I got a 3KL for saying Antifa promotes violence. The mod was like "you can't generalize a group of people like that!" Never mind all the vids of them rioting and attacking people.

first account was banned for saying something about "Rednecks have vehicles on their lawns". that was in probably 2000 or so.

but the ability to fucking swear nowadays really did kill the whole account-suicide phenomenon

No. Ive just noticed a trend where groups of people who share similar, and very illegal ideals can post freely about what theyre into and they wont be touched.
