I want to try and read a book based of a video game franchise. Tried looking for Silent Hill but couldn't find anything too noteworthy. So I searched Resident Evil and found this. I'm more aware about this series anyways than Silent Hill. Just curious what people thought of it.

I liked it when I was younger, but looking back it wasn't all that great. That one adapts the first game and can get a bit literal about things that make more sense as game logic while not really adding to lore or characterization the way the Halo books have done.
