take those offers where if you pay an extra $3 you have a warranty for a game?

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. For a console, sure. But for a game, really? If it doesn't work I'm bringing it back with my receipt and I'm getting a refund.

Anybody actually fall for this crap?

I think the warranty extends beyond the usual buyback date.

Still if your careful with a game you shouldn't need to pay $3 for some "warranty".

Gamestop is scum though. I was walking buy the store with no intention of going in when a guy working there stopped me and did everything he could to make me come in and buy something.

I usually go to some local store near my area that sells both new and old games. GameStop is where I go if I want to buy a brand new game that came out.

I've done it twice. Once was for Pokemon Platinum, because a lot of DS carts will get shitty and stop reading. The other time was a special case.

No. Also a few time they just added it on there without telling me.
