Yep. It having mechs as well just screams chronic trigger. And since I am setsuna was similar to chronic trigger already. Could be interesting.

It's not a $60 game either.

I never got to Setsuna despite interest because they never brought the Vita version, might try the demo for this. Have other games to finish before that though.

I was until I tried the demo the other night.

The battle system was neat but everything else was bland and uninspired. I have no idea what the stats mean; whats the difference between Ability, Magical Power & Mental Strength? What's a Recovery stat?

Why can't the armored suits use regular attacks? The suits all share the same very limited pool of special attack points just to enable real attacks the next turn? Didn't get to try out Momentum attacks either, which seem like a big deal. I think its like a "limit break" effect but Im not sure; possibly like Bravely Default's custom specials?
