My first playthrough, I got through act 1 and just wasn't feeling my team and felt like I missed some stuff in fort joy.

My initial team:
Main character Ifan as a death knight build
Red prince as a fighter
Fane as a wizard
Sebille as a wayfarer.

I fucked up by having a strictly tank class with an already tanky death knight. Didn't want to change in act 2, so I restarted.

Soooooooooo much better now.

Now I have:
Custom human main with warfare, hydrosophism, aerothurgy, necromancy and polymorph, 1h and shield
Sebille with conjurer geomancy and aerothurgy
Red prince with warfare, 2h, necromancy, and hydrosophism(for blood rain)
Ifan with ranged, huntsman, scoundrel, and geomancy.

The synergy is insane. Plus I found that I did miss a lot, including an entire boss fight(high judge). I'm enjoying this new run so much.

Also, I don't think I like undead. Yes I know how their healing works, but its annoying to do it for one character and avoid using healing magic near him.

Idk your party seems too spread out between physical/magic damage
2/2 split works, but your main doesnt even seem to focus on one

I know, but I knew I missed shit in fort joy, and wasn't happy with my choice of teammates, since I don't like how undead healing works.

Oh ok from the topic I thought that you wanted to redo over because you messed up on points only.

And about Beast I think that he is Ok but I made him into a straight up Knight kind of class and he almost useless compared to the rest of my party. Tanks are so boring in this game, and both heavy armor and 2H makes you so slow that it wasn't too worth it. I think that Dwarves would be better as spellcasters or maybe a thief like character based on racial abilities

Ehh, tanks can be fun if you dive into magic to supplement it. That's why I picked the build I did, lots of fun crowd control and damage abilities.

I feel like the only good elements for tanky builds would just be Necromancy for debuffs and draining and Earth for armor :/

The build I use has both lol, but its mainly warfare and frost stuff. But I've always enjoyed tanks in rpgs, so I'm biased.
