The quick bullet points:

*it's exactly like origins but heavily refined with new combat tricks.
*it's heavily like black flag. Once he got the ship and could sail the Mediterranean, he showed the map and its fucking massive. Lots of islands go explore, lots of cities, open seas, etc..
*facial animations are terrible
*just as graphically pretty as origins
*voice acting is dreadful, downright hilarious at points
*story is... There. It's an assassins creed game. Seems better than origins, but that's not saying much.
*dialogue is hilarious and awkward
*combat looks fun as fuck. You have abilities to use now too.
*ramming with the trireme looks so satisfying
*you don't play as the real world person anymore. It's the same one as origins but all done through phone and computer lol.

So it's basically origins + black flag, but refined to a fine point, with terrible plot per usual.

Honestly, I'm a history nerd, so the series has always been a historical playground for me. I couldn't care any less about the plot, I just Wanna fuck around in real world historical settings lol.

I never buy the games full price, they've consistently been on sale for $30 on black Friday every year since at least brotherhood.

Yeah like, I don't remember origins having dialogue that bad, maybe the Greek accents for everyone in odyssey makes it stand out more.

You level up and there's random loot and skill trees. That being said, no. Unless your one of those people that consider Zelda to be an RPG, then yes it's an RPG.
