I dunno what "eat the lettuce" means.

I think Asteroids is the main one I can think of that has that kind of movement.

I've made a few random games that work that way, since it's actually pretty easy to setup the controls to move a ship like that.

That's one part of the Rare catalogue that doesn't come up very often.

I think there's a couple on Steam from memory...

One is a build-a-ship style game where you have to get parts or whatever, can't remember the name

The other is, like, you're a rocket and you bounce off walls to maintain momentum to complete the puzzles... can't remember the name of that one either.
