Also the Steelers would probably prefer to get a full week and play on Sunday rather than Thursday. It's the Ravens who will be gimped since they'll have to play shorthanded.

Incorrect. They had their week scheduled out for it and it got upended due to no fault of their own.

They had their bye week stripped to a less advantageous time. And, are going to inevitably lose their first round bye also.

I mean yes they scheduled it out for a Thursday game but it's not like they can't readjust and actually get a full week between games. Players by and large don't like Thursday games because it's too quick of a turnaround. And it's not like the Ravens don't have to deal with the same problems and then some so don't play this off as some major disadvantage for the Steelers.

I've got the underdog in both games today because in my mind the Lions never lose on Thanksgiving and the Cowboys never win.

While that's a fair point, I think the Steelers' historically bad record on Thanksgiving makes it a wash. Ravens might win anyway, but I would have felt a lot better about them if they played today.

the Steelers historically have bad luck with coin flips on Thanksgiving too

I love how Thanksgiving tradition is to have perpetually mediocre teams play. I don't want to live in a world where the Lions/cowboys are defending super bowl champions on Thanksgiving day. (Yes I know that both of these teams were once upon a time very good, but not in my lifetime!)

The NBA should do the same on Christmas: no matter what the Wizards and Kings play on Christmas

The Giants have a simple route to 5. Beat the Bengals and Cowboys, lose everything else.
