yeah I can't find a way so far. you have to visit the site it's on, find it if possible, and then use copy image link. (you could use 'copy image' which will copy the image contents to the copy buffer).
on bing it's similar, but there is also a "view image" option that will give you the direct link to the original file. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

They got sued by a stock photo company years ago and can no longer provide direct links to images.

Sometimes, doing the right click and "copy link" action two or 3 times actually gives you the real link.
Failing that, view image will usually provide it in the address bar. And yeah, it's a fucking pain in the ass. ... Copied to Clipboard!
