Oh, Leonard Nimoy, really? You had the decency and foresight to dodge Star Trek Generations because you felt it was an awful movie, but Transformers 3 lived up to your standards? You consider Transformers 3 to be worthy of your time but Star Trek Generations not to be? Well I don't know how to say it any other way: Generations is a better movie than Transformers 3, and I hate Generations more than almost any other movie I've ever seen.
Jesus Christ, I knew it was going to be bad going into it but I had no idea of the level of the badness.

Exactly. I thought at least maybe, hey, Michael Bay action, should be cool to see in theaters at least once, right?
Nope. Action sucked and was very sparse. Bay actually tried to focus more on the story. WHAT THE F***. WHY HAS HE NOT LEARNED? He can't direct a good story to save his life, focus on the freakin' action only. The story was so full of contradictions and plot holes, nothing in the movie made sense, dear god, such a terrible movie.
And good point on Leonard Nimoy. It's like, hey, the story may suck, and the action and explosions are the worst you'll ever see in a Michael Bay movie, but LEONARD NIMOY IS IN IT! And Cheng too.
Yet Starscream's death was still what pissed me off the most. URGHSDLFIUGH.

From: KimPilgrim | #003 I feel like the existence of Transformers 2 and 3 bring down America as a nation.
Like, America is a worse place to live in because those movies were made.
I agree with you completely now. There were several people in the theater that applauded when the movie was over and I was like "what the f*** people, that movie was terrible and you should be throwing your popcorn and soda at the screen, not CLAPPING. UGH."
As I told my friend today, it's stuff like Transformers 3 that holds the human race back from its potential.

Mindless action flicks are fine when it actually has action in it.
It took almost TWO HOURS for the movie to actually get to the action heavy part, and the action still sucked. It was mostly humans vs random Decepticons while the Autobots made some appearances to help out occasionally. Like I said, the worst action and explosions I've ever seen in a Michael Bay movie. The second movie had better action than the crap featured in this one.
From: StealThisSheen | #007 Yes. Liking mindless action flicks is truly what's wrong with America. Nothing else.
There's plenty of things wrong with America, but the Transformers movies are actively lowering the average intelligence of U.S. citizens. It's an issue.
