Yeah this is gonna suck for multiple reasons. I felt like a such a badass getting back-to-back RPGs in a deathmatch and it's great in co-op arena where you can get like 3 medics ready to heal. Now there's little reason to actually save kickbacks.

Love love love Plunder. Needs a treasure bearer booster though. Maybe Speedy G does that.
Unfortunate about the kickback medals. I think that kinda hurts the utility of things like smoke bomb.

Anyone try smoke bombing with the treasure yet?

Yeah, I realized what it is that gives you so much money - medals. You can still get a ton of money through medals, in whatever way you get them during the match. Wigs was right about kils, too. $50 for one, $25 for an assist.

I absolutely loathe Co-Op Hunter Arena. It's so... exploitable it's sad. When it doesn't screw you over with an out of the way treasure chest.

Played with a nice group tonight. One of the guys had the spider kickback and it was nice to see that in action. Turns out the thing also eats your team as well. I suppose it's kinda balanced. Yeah, Co-op Hunter is terrible and needs to go. But Team Objective is a blast might be my new favorite mode if I could figure out the scoring.

I don't know about this newest update (1.02/3). I'm hoping they're just testing out the response to the lowered health, and it's not something they're planning on keeping. It's not UC2 level or anything, but you get kills and die noticeably quicker than before. Fixing the Para and weakening the Micro are good, though!

Had my best match of the beta a little while ago in Plunder - 2 captures, 57-17!

They weakened the micro? Ugh. I'd rather they just did that to melee. Gunning with micro takes most of the clip already. And people without the clip extender are screwed.

I didn't notice any health difference last night nor a weakened Micro. I can't even find anything about health under their notes about what the updates changed. Where does it says this?

It doesn't mention it in the patch notes, but it's very apparent. Everyone dies much quicker than before - G-MAL only takes a couple of shots now versus three at the beginning. The Para fires faster with slightly less recoil, too, so it was buffed. ND can do these things on the fly, as they see and hear people's responses. Some people say the AK is better, too, but I haven't used it since. Hardcore mode got rid of weapon mods, also.

But the bigger news. This game will be amazing for this one reason, Protectorates are now only 1 kill saving the treasure carrier and not 5 or whatever it was. THIS IS AMAZING.

Yeah, Yemen is pissing me off with the two towers to camp from. You can launch grenades up there but they can easily run around to the other side to protect themselves from the blast.

There are balconies adjacent to each tower that can be reached by the protected sidestreets. They both have Tbolts and give you the most perfect view of any head to pop up from a tower.

Yemen sucks.

Yemen has a cool design but the only thing that happens is people climb to the two towers, die, run up there again. It's getting boring.


Co-Op Adventure is pretty fun, can't wait to play the other two parts in the full game. I wanted so much more after that ending.
