Is it as long as the first one? Or is it just like an hour long + a lot of codec conversations?
Because I started playing MGS for the first time (yeah, I'm late, I know) ... and I got to the end of CD1 and was enjoying it a lot ... but the thing is that CD2 doesn't work on the version I'm playing. And after wasting several hours trying to fix it, I've finally given up. But since I was really enjoying the game, I'm considering watching the rest of the game in a playthrough on youtube .... unless there's actually half of the game left. So how anyone remember if CD2 is as long as the first CD? And no spoilers pls
I always seem to get the estimation of the second disc's length totally wrong when I replay the game. I think it's longer and it isn't or I think it's shorter and it isn't. It's f***ed up.
Anyway, it's like 40% of the game... I... THINK.

Also, I don't know what emulator you're using, but it sure isn't the right one if it doesn't let you switch disks. Use pSX, it's the best and most straightforward one.
(If you're actually playing a legit copy despite your wording, you could always just get the emulator and restart, if you're not willing to shell out the cash and wait on the mail)
I'm too poor, especially to buy a game that I've already played half of And it's not the PC version either. Let's just say I'd get modded if I said how I played it
I can't switch discs with the most recent version I'm using (1.7.0), so I have to use the previous version (1.6.0) to switch the discs, then save on Disc 2, then open my saved game on the 1.7.0 version. The problem is that when Disc 2 starts, the game freezes whenever I try to use the codec. So I can't save. Several other people have had that problem, because I googled it, but none of the solutions work. I've spent at least 2-3 hours trying to get this to work so right now I'm losing my sanity, which is why I've given up.
