And I'm forced to admit it was actually pretty fun.

Is the entire game "10 minute cutscene - 1 minute block puzzle" though or is there other stuff? I might legitimately check this out when it gets down to $20 or something.

More like 10 minute cutscene followed by another ten minutes of bar time followed by two hours of struggling to complete one puzzle, then another puzzle right after that, then boss fight.

Pretty much this. The boss fight puzzles are annoying, the puzzles themselves aren't that hard compared to the first or second one you do in the stage, but you are forced to work at a much faster pace.
