If you're trying to tell me to use the Magnet Beam, I'm playing Powered Up so that's a no-go. In the original game hell yeah I'm using Magnet Beam over them no matter what.

If you're telling me those are a worse obstacle, you're objectively wrong. At least those have an actual repeating pattern that never changes, plus they can't shoot at you and knock you off to your death.
