Wow I can't say any of the things mentioned are actually things that are generally annoying.
Points of no return are only bad in RPGs and adventure games anyway.

Don't know about the other two, but I meant the "new"/old craze. I seriously find that it adds nothing to the experience, plus it alienates at least 10 percent of the human population, and don't get me started on if it requires glasses.

Online achievements for games that aren't primarily online. There's no reason for Beautiful Katamari to have achievements that require me to play on XBLA.

Games that only let you save via autosave. Half the time I don't notice when an autosave happens so I don't know when I can stop playing.

Adding stupid fluff to make the hour count longer (lol No More Heroes)

Mandatory stealth segments in non stealth games (If I want a stealth game I'll play MGS, don't make me sneak around in Wind Waker, damnit)

Mandatory Fishing in non-fishing games (If I want to fish, I'll play some... fishing game... I don't care, I just don't want to fish Sonic Adventure and Twilight Princess)

Also, pointless collectathons and achievements linked to them. I love Prototype, but I have absolutely no desire to collect 200 location orbs and 50 hint orbs (or whatever the totals are). I can look that crap up online and the EP rewards are less than what I get for just destroying a military base.

Fallout 3's overworld. I would love to play in a wasteland that looks like rainbows and butterflies. Too much gray in modern games. More games should look like Dragon Quest 8, or Okami.

Points of no return, missables, and anything else that requires arcane knowledge on the part of the player--especially if there isn't a new game plus. My first thought when a kingdom is tragically wiped off the map shouldn't be "dammit, there goes that relic I couldn't figure out how to get."
