Just an observation, but I'm also wondering why that is. I've noticed (I've also had a conversation about this with people, including a couple of Asian friends) that they often take pictures of their food (when eating out) and post it on Facebook.

Go Asians.

What kind of question is that? It's a large, four-legged mammal...

Shows how little you know about Asians (East/SouthEast Asians anyway). We love food so much, the next greeting after 'Hi', ''Sup', 'Good morning' etc is usually "Have you eaten?".

Anyway, just because I can, this is my lunch plate from two weeks ago

We actually take time to enjoy the beauty of our food since crafting food in itself, is an art (yay Iron Chef).

I was about to say ibnio

When I was in China I actually took photos of food. I haven't done that before or since. I think they were rubbing off on me.

Italians usually don't take pictures of their food, despite really taking time to craft the stuff. We just... prefer to east it lol

Err, I don't take photos of my food, but maybe partly because of technical difficulties?

And yeah, eating is a pretty big part of Asian culture. Now I'm hungry.

Yeah, showing a picture isn't likely to do any amount of justice to the food a lot of the time, too.
