This is great news. I seem to remember something about it mentioning "This save file is registered to this DSi system" or something similar. Glad to know that my pokemanz will be safe.

Wow, those trade in prices are diabolical.

UK prices for trade in

360 = $135
PS3 40GB = $170
PS3 80GB = $185
DS Lite = $77
PSP 3000 = $100

And that's before any sort of extra trade in incentive. That's just base tradein values with no bonuses and at the first store I tried.

The UK also pays a lot more for video games and video game systems.

Just a quick search:

PlayStation 3 [160 gig model]: $408 CAD vs. $299 CAD
Nintendo Wii: $208 CAD vs. $150 CAD
XBox 360 [4 gig model]: $245 CAD vs. $199 CAD

And I highly doubt you can walk in to whatever chain of stores you have and get $170 for a 4 year old PS3 model.

That's a chain store and the only site I bothered to check. £110 = $176. Might even be able to get more elsewhere.

And I know for a fact we get games vastly cheaper than the US (not sure on Canada prices) because I currently bounce between England and Florida at the moment.

Also, those prices you quoted for us are way off even if they are new prices.

With literally less than 30 seconds searching I've found (I.e. just putting them into google shopping)

Wii $160
PS3 $304
Xbox $204

Those are new prices. Maybe you added taxes on or something but all our prices are quoted inclusive of all taxes.
