I guess it's odd because you say Captain Jack can make any movie good.

Well, Curse of the Black Pearl was actually a solid movie on its own, and it had Jack at his absolute best IMO. At World's End non-Jack stuff was a complete mess and I don't think Jack was better in AWE then he was in CotBP.

Oh, Jack Sparrow was as good as it gets in Curse of the Black Pearl. Practically flawless work by Johnny Depp with the character.

But I just love Jack at the end of 3. So good.

Pretty much everything from the Brethren Court on, Jack is fantastic.

Although I would consider the "end" to begin once he gets taken to the Flying Dutchman.

See, I'd say Jack was rather hit/miss during that time period. There were some moments I really enjoyed and some moments I kinda groaned at (like him and Davy Jones running around the Kraken Hammer).
