It's not particularly "bad", but it isn't that impressive either. The song is lackluster. Tries to be upbeat but just doesn't cut it. The animation itself isn't too cool either.

This song starts off REALLY bad, but once it hits the chorus, it becomes pretty awesome. Honestly, I probably like this about as much as I like Hologram, which is to say I don't care for it. But towards the end it does pick up. But it does some interesting things with the animation. Namely the parts with Mustang, especially the part where it shows him eyeing the fuhrer.

Pretty decent song, actually. It's not as intense as I expected for the final theme song of the show, but I think that's ok. The song is rather somber and I appreciate that. I especially like the scene with the Fuhrer sitting crying. Really dire stuff, really. Definitely conveys the idea that the final battle is approaching and that nothing will be the same.

It's ironic that one of the best opening themes is used for the worst part of the show. That said, I think the song is the right balance of upbeat and melancholy that perfectly matches this part of the show. The only part I dont' like is the part where it shows Ed and Al lose there bodies (or limbs in Ed's case) outside their house. And that's fine, but then it shows Winry getting blown around and it just looks really weird.
