Poor Serena and her foot. She totally would have won if not for that foot. Let's not talk at all about Stosur. Let's talk about how brave Serena is for fighting through that terrible foot injury of hers. What a hero to tennis players everywhere.
And a great sport too. Did you see her shake her opponent's hand? Even though she was inferior to Serena? Serena showing great humility.

Serena Williams is one of the biggest sore losers I've ever seen. I'm so glad she lost, she's not only disgusting on the outside, but also as a person woo!

It's always nice when you have a justifiable reason to call yourself one of the best ever at a sport even when you're not. My cousin once bowled a 300, which means he's tied for the best bowling performance of all time.

Djokovic takes the first set 6-2. Rare for the first set to start off so close and competitive and then become one-sided. Hopefully Nadal can respond at the start of the second.

KWTV-9 moved coverage of the U.S. Open men's tennis championship on Monday to sister station News Now 53.
News Now 53 is available on Cox digital channel 53 and over-the-air digital channel 9.2, which requires a digital antenna.
Rob Krier, vice president and chief operating officer for Griffin Communications, said the station made the decision last week to move the coverage, and announced it on its weekend newscasts and with a crawl Monday.
Tennis is such a narrow, narrow audience, Krier said. More people would rather see our regular programming. The station airs The Doctors at 3 p.m., followed by newscasts at 4 p.m.
Krier noted that Friday's U.S. Open coverage received only a 0.7 rating on KWTV.
wheee i have U-Verse and a crap computer so no tennis for me

By what measure should Federer have won? It's not like he was leading two sets and then got injured and had to quit. Djokovic hung with him nearly game for game for the first two sets, and then capitalized when he started breaking down after that.
Nole's lost two matches all year, and that's not a fluke. He is damn near unbeatable right now.

Djokovic leads two to love. Amazing set (that game at 2-0 Nadal will surely be talked about for years), but Nadal's forehand packed in and lost it for him after he fought back to 4-4.

One of those matches he lost to Fed. Fed had 2 match points and made a silly fault. I'm not saying He deserved to win but he could have easily lost that Match dJokovic.
I think they hit it on the head when they said Nadal's facing some inner turmoil right now. The reason he's whining so much more is because his struggles against Djokovic have gotten to his psyche a little, I believe.
