Poor Assassin's Creed. Such a great series, and yet it's going to get killed this year because of a bad release date.

It's really got nothing to do with the month itself.

Just that November this year is humongous.

Call of Duty, Uncharted, Zelda, Assassin's Creed, and Sonic Generations, for starters. It could've possibly been Mass Effect 3, too, if Bioware hadn't looked at this deluge of games and pushed the release back to early 2012.

Yeah AC is more like the game other companies have to think about before releasing in the same month, not the other way around.

AC:R is easily in the top 3 fall releases this year in terms of sales... it's not going to be "killed by a bad release date," in fact it's more probable that it kills others games.
