Honestly, I watched it for the first time in years a while back (with Silvercross, Zazi, and Dante? Is that right?) and it just doesn't hold up. There are a few good parts but by and large it's meh.

A+++++++++++++ premise though, would think about again.

Alright, aside from the ED-209 totally ****ing killing that dude near the beginning, there aren't many good action scenes. Oh wait, there's the scene where Murph totally gets ****ing torn apart. That part's pretty great.

Actually, I suspect that I might be misremembering this movie. I honestly don't remember many good scenes from the movie. I should remedy this.

Speaking of Robocop's main influence, the comic Judge Dredd, that movie Dredd hitting in early 2012 is gonna be hype.

And hell yeah Robocop is awesome. I'll buy that for a dollar!

Oddly enough, Metal Gear was released in Japan in '87 shortly before RoboCop was released.

(ha oh yeah I guess Rex was the first one who roared. Still, it is wacky that Metal Gear predates Robocop by just a few weeks)

I thought it pretty good. Its a very 80sish movie, and that is cool. I loved Ferrer in it. Also the black dude's thumbs up at the end was excellent.
