The whole final 2 episodes I was thinking how disappointed I would be if they ended up killing Lumen and much of a waste of season the whole thing would have been. Then it ended the way it did and I sorta wished they had just killed her.
Other than that I really enjoyed the season as a whole. Poor Robocop. He should have known he was destined to be killed by one of his own.
I really like Dexter the show as a whole but it really needs to stop having finales that make the season overall very average. And more focus on Dexter and not anyone else (ugh deb/quinn or laguerta/angel). Seriously. Only S1 and 4 were really great
that said, still excited for S6 because S4 showed this show still has lots of potential
My main problem with season 5 is that in writing Lumen out of the show it basically holds no plot relevance whatsoever. End of s4, astor and cody love him, end of s5, astor and cody love him. end of s4, quinn /cares, end of s5 quinn /cares. Don't get me wrong, I loved season five but I don't see the plot relevance in it.
I was really hoping there would be a preview of Season 6 on the Season 5 DVD's but instead the bonus features are the first two episodes of the Borgias (which i also want to see, so thats pretty cool, but still)
I felt like this season Dexter made way more mistakes than normal yet he manages to never get caught. Deb had the most growth this season I believe and I liked Quinn a bit more than last season but I am sick and tired of every season Deb having a new love interest. Not all shows have to have characters with love interests.
