Okay I don't think I mentioned before, but I really hate the bus system. I'M ALWAYS MISSING THE BUS OR GETTING OFF AT THE WRONG STOP. I should probably take this moment to say that this complaint doesn't just apply to the game, it applies to all buses, real or not.

Well the problem with buses is that unless you're familiar with the route, you usually don't realize that you've gotten to your stop until it's too late for the bus to stop there. So you either go past it, or jump the gun in an attempt to not miss your stop and end up getting off way sooner than you were supposed to.

Oh and don't get me started on missing the bus. The worst is when the bus stop is on the opposite side of the street and the bus comes while you're waiting to cross. You're just like FFFFFFFFFFFF standing there helplessly.

The only time I ever ride the bus is when you first get there to get to Caraway Mansion because it's easy. I'll run everywhere else.

You can get the Brothers at any time, they're not truly missable until disc 4 I believe. But yeah, he could have got them by now

He should have gotten them by now. He may not have even known about them though.

So if you haven't gotten the Brothers GF and you're not finished with Disc 1 yet, go back to the Tomb of the Unknown King and go right at every intersection and do what you need to in each big room. Then when you get back to the entrance, go back in and go straight until you get to the last part.

HERE. I MADE IT. Not a lot of detail because I played a lot and didn't write the update as I played, but instead just wrote it after I was done playing so I probably forgot some stuff. Anyway, hey at least I played! One disc down I think!

B****, Zell and Selphie go apologize to Rinoa. They end up getting locked inside the house because b**** is an amazingly incompetent leader. Rinoa then proceeds to go Solid Snake on everyone and get blown away by the sorceress. Because magic. Then she uses magic to lift Rinoa up in the air apparently. Man that looks like an uncomfortable position to fall.

The witch starts to give an evil speech. Man it'd be embarrassing if the mic was turned on. I laughed for a good minute while the crowd cheered as she murdered that dude randomly during the speech. I'm beginning to suspect the mic is really on and the crowd is just dumb and keeps cheering for her saying she's the root of all evil and all that random crap.

Also have I mentioned how much I hate this climbing mechanism? Half the times it's obvious where you are supposed to climb something but GODDAMN IT. If you facing the wrong direction just slightly then it just...doesn't work. Ugh.

There are two dog...things...that are easy to kill. I drew everything out of them out of reflex. Then killed them. Then Irvine choked and went "I CAN'T DO THIS I'M JUST A SNIPER HOW CAN I ACTUALLY SNIPE" or something.

Squall proceeds to be really goddamn cool and drive a car. DID CLOUD EVER DRIVE A CAR? I DON'T REMEMBER BUT IF HE DID IT WASN'T AS COOL AS SQUALL WAS HERE. Oh hai Seifer. Sup. Oh you wanna kill your bro? Don't do that bro. That's so unbro. The witch starts using some really bad metaphors.

Stuff happens and Squall gets impaled. HE'S DEAD. THE REST OF THE GAME MUST BE A DELUSION OR SOMETHING. Or not because that would be dumb.

Disc 2 opens with Laguna, broing it up and finding out the chick he wanted to bang has married someone else and apparently spawned Rinoa. Interesting.

Oh hai Seifer. You want to know what SeeD is? But...but you...ooooh. I get it. THIS IS DEEP. Or not.

OH BY ALL FLYING LEPRECHAUNS! WHAT THE GUACAMOLE IS THAT THING?

A...whatever I forgot what it was called. It looks like a lion. Or something.

Zell proceeds to be badass and sneak everyone out.

Rinoa arrives and then they escape because why not. Irvine is acting...not like a stereotype. This is...interesting. So far, only character in the party I don't like is the b****. Quiswhateverhernameis.

Then, plot happens. There is a mission. It involves explosives. And Zell is awesome. Then he's like "DUDE DID YOU PUT ME IN THIS TEAM BECAUSE YOU HATE ME OR SOMETHING" then stuff explodes. Oh and I think there were bosses in between all of that.

...Yeah I think I should write updates as I play the game. Or else they turn into...this.

Cloud driving a motorcycle will never be even a third as cool as Squall driving a car. Cloud is trying to be cool. Squall is just like "...Whatever. I need a car." and that makes him cooler.

Or, if not there, that everything past the opening cutscene is a delusion and Squall was in the infirmary after his fight with Seifer the whole time.

Yeah, the idea is that everything that came after that point is "a dream of what could have been," or "visions from ultimecia of an alternate future" or some such. It's supposed to explain away the fact that there's a lot of character stupidity and plot leaps/inconsistencies. But most of us don't believe that the writers were intelligent enough to pull off something that subtle and interesting.

It's more likely that the writers were just morons.
