Hey all! A friend of mine lent me a few games to get to. Now that I've cleared them all out, it is time to tackle the final one: ToS. We played cooperatively together for about one hour, and I enjoyed the story. This was about a month ago, so I'm going to reset and start fresh tonight.
I know a lot of people like this game and it's story. I'm a completion freak so I'm gonna try to do the SQs and everything. How long we talking? I'm a JPRG lover, am I going to enjoy this?
Hints and advice? Please keep spoilers to a minimum.
I'd guess 40-50 hours? I haven't played it in a long time so I might be off.
If you liked the story from the first hour or so you'll probably love the game.
As for advice... I can't recall if there's anything you can miss. The game does have a New Game+ feature (as well as difficulty levels) so perhaps just playing through once blind and then doing a replay might be a decent option?

No amount of planning will ever replace dumb luck.
well i don't have much time for Ng+ cuz i want to play other games and leave for military basic training in a month. so perhaps one playthrough is best and u guys can help me with missable stuff?
Although it depends on the definition of "sidequest". You have to play the game multiple times just to get all the items to complete a pointless book, and it would be more worthwhile to shove nails in your eyes than to try and collect all of the titles.
You should still fight the Sword Dancers though. Those are a fun challenge.
-- Okay, I rolled a 14. What's that mean? Hsu That you're a cheater. This is a 12-sided die. Chan
