I think I played for like 50 something hours.

Got like Warrior to level 30 something and some sub jobs to the teens (or early twenties?).

That was during my free month. TIme to pick it up again when I got time.

I literally can't remember a single game where I can definitively say I remember whether they used the term dragoon or lancer. Not one!

EDIT: OK FFT definitely used Lancer, but I've played that like 80 times.

I can think of a ton more examples of Dragoon off the top of my head, many of which are in various Final Fantasy games!

Dragoon is more commonly used in FF.

Lancer is more commonly used everywhere else in the known universe.

Included the multiverse.

Final Fantasy isn't 80% of RPGs.

And Kimahri in X, while not called anything, DOES have an attack called "Lancet."
