Crimson Alliance is an action/rpg that they consider kind of a modern day gauntlet. The focus is more on the action, and it looks like a lot of fun, hopefully we can get a B8 party going. If you know you only want to play one specific class, you can buy it for $10 and use only that class. This is also free if you bought every summer of arcade game, but considering how different all the games were, and the inclusion of a Kinect game, I doubt anyone did that here!

A game that I guess is supposed to be like old school Castlevania. It looks pretty smooth and interesting. There are 2 reviews so far, IGN gave it a 9/10 and loved it and the difficulty, Gameinformer gave it a 7/10 and said the difficulty couldget really cheap. So I guess your enjoyment will depend a lot on if that bothers you.

Skydrift is an arcade flight racer, which hasn't gotten tons of attention, but actually looks pretty good. What a great week for downloadable games!

I think the rush of releases this week is making gaming sites slow to really review the downloadable titles.

Bloodrayne- couldn't really get into it, the combat didn't excite me at all, though it is a good looking, well animated game.

Skydrift- actually, pretty fun surprisingly. I can't see tons of people playing this online, which is where I imagine it'd be the most fun, and it's not the kind of game I would pay full price for in general, but it is a well made game. I made pick it up when there is a sale.

Crimson Alliance- really solid combat in the demo I played, but playing it alone is clearly just not how it was designed, so I'm gonna hold off on this one until someone else gets it, then I'd definitely buy it.

so a decent week, though I dunno if I'll be buying anything.

it's weird, but in the end you can choose to either buy one character for $10, or all of them for $15.
