We should all talk about our favorite villain(s)/boss fight(s) from MGS1 and 2. I was gonna say 3, but then I realized we should keep spoilers out of here, so let's just go with 1 and 2 for now.
For me, Sniper Wolf was my favorite in MGS1, because I love sniper battles and she's just a really cool character. Of course Ocelot is the best villain, but... he's Ocelot, so that's a given.
Solidus was kinda cool in MGS2, but really the only villain/boss fight I LOVED was against Metal Gear RAY. Those things are so awesome.

Good idea. I'll delete my message in a moment. 1 and 2, eh?
Favorite antagonist? Tie between Ocelot and Wolf.
Favorite boss fight, though? Solidus. The RAY fight is intense, so that's second place. What a great way to finish the game... I even love all the Tengu fights leading up to it.

MGS1: Best boss fight was Psycho Mantis, the Ninja is up there too. Really all the boss fights were awesome, but I have to admit I always take down Sniper Wolf with the Nikita the second time around. >_>
MGS2: Is it just me or did boss fights seem a lot sparser in this one? Fatman is notable for being just so crazy ridiculous, but for my favorite one I might have to go with the Harrier. Fighting the last boss in MGS2 always feels a little lacking since he has jet boots and I just have to go runnin' around with mah sword herp derp.
As for villains, Ocelot easy, but I have a soft spot in my heart for MGS1 Liquid as well. I'm YOU! I'M YOUR SHADOW!. In MGS2 still ocelot but runner up goes to Vamp for being freaky as hell.
No rations and fixed weaponry always made the final fights pretty damn epic.
Love the throw back to the old metal gears with the one on one fist fight with liquid. And I like how that was taken up a notch to fit with the sword ninja theme for raiden.
I sadly never enjoyed Psycho Mantis as much as everyone else because I didn't get into this series until just a few years ago, and I already long knew what to do against him. So it wasn't as special to me. I still enjoy fighting him, but eh, I really love Sniper Wolf more. And Grey Fox too, yeah, forgot about him, though I wouldn't count him a villain, his boss fight is still great.
Dead Cell sucks. I hate Fatman, both the character and the boss fight, because I find it more boring than anything. Vamp is actually kind of cool in MGS2 at least, but I'm still not fond of him. Still, his boss fight is kinda cool. I still prefer the fights against the Harrier and the RAYs the most, I think I just enjoy the Stinger too much.

I think I'm the only fan of Fatman on this entire board. There's something refreshing about a man who's just f***ing insane -- mainly because he's surrounded by all these schemers and suicidals and triple agents and antiheroes. I love all those things and I quite enjoy most of the series' cast but there needs to be a couple of just plain crazy people.
And I love the thick New York accent that goes with it.

Just purely on character, I guess I like all the villains from 1, and, uh, Solidus.
Favorite boss fights? Both instances of Snakes on a Plane, from the original and sequel, and the second Vulcan Raven fight stand out to me. Also I guess the Metal Gear RAYs and the fight with Solidus.
