Aw. I saved Mienfoo over Mienshao because I thought Mienshao had a better chance of being saved by someone else (and I didn't think I'd be fast enough to snipe).

That's kinda risky when there are 5 pokémon left <_<.
Must say that Oshawott came too close to elimination. Because of this, I made the save nobody wanted to see. Payback sucks, huh? ;D
How does that have anything to do with anything?
Pansear and Virizion are left in the bottom 15 like, every other round and you don't see me making the worst eliminations possible just to spite people for not saving a few of my favorites earlier! If anything, that makes me want to postpone my Oshawott vote to prevent you from making bad eliminations!

Yeah, that's not why you made that save. I'm pretty sure it was 100% spite against Gen.
Gen, I'm pretty sure Oshawott has a strong backing, so it should make the top 50 fairly easily. I'm not concerned. If it's in the bottom 5 or 10 in any of the upcoming rounds, I might be concerned. For now though, things are good. :D

Chill out Gen, I think he was just joking around. Besides, losing a favorite sucks but has to happen at some point. Could be worse, I had a lot big favorites being outlasted by Basculin <_<.

Hey now lets not bring Palpitoad into this, that guy wouldn't hurt a fly!

I don't think he was joking. This was the same one who thought he'd "fall in love with Jigglypuff" when he was certain it was going to win that other pokémon contest (that was after Jiggs was in the bottom ten three times in a row btw). I think his logic is broken beyond repair.
I can't complain with this. I agree with Bigwig, I found Mienfoo/shao to be completely bland and unremarkable. The same way I felt Elgyem/Beheeyem failed to stand out amongst the many Psychics, these two failed to stand out amongst the many Fighting-types for me.
funnily, 'Mienshao stands out' is one of the top two things about it for me (Regenerator being the other.) i thought they did a really good job making a 'flimsy' fighting type - not only is that rare for a fighting pokemon, it also fits the way it's actually used in battle perfectly. sprints in, gets a couple hard blows, escapes before it gets hit back, recovers its strength, and comes back to do it all over again. the entire design makes sense. (as opposed to, say, Zekrom, who based on looking at it should not be a ****ing slow Uber incapable of any decent boosting. dude should have been the Dragon Dance king.)
