This boss deserves more popularity
It is the worst boss in any Zelda game to date

the player has double damage from the red tunic so it never got to smash the left side of the screen and make rubble drop all over the screen

which would still make this an easy boss in a game where moldorm is the first boss

I played Link's Awakening about 4 times,and I don't think I ever got hit by this boss or if I did anything other than spamming sword slash

You don't even need the red tunic to kill the angler fish before it can attack. God, the red and blue tunics are so unnecessary in LA, the game's already easy.

If I could make one complaint about LA, my favorite game of all time, it would be its boss fights. The last one is pretty cool, but most of them are really easy and just not that well thought out. The face is another one that stands out to me as being a total joke. I think the only decent boss in the game is the eagle's tower boss.
