I'm student teaching and was talking to the 10th graders about where I work. When class was through, one of the students ask me if I knew a Brandon who worked there. I said yes, and she told me that she went out on a date with him once. Apparently he picked her up because she bought paint and wrote his number on the can.
It was very creepy. And then I found out that he is 22. And now it is beyond very creepy.

No, not outside of school, but there is a huge huge difference between a 16 year old and a 22 year old. A world of difference. Not so much between a 30 year old and a 36 year old, for example.

It could be possible she either called something completely innocent a date because she's a stupid teen girl, or that she's lying intentionally to get the guy in trouble.

No 16 year old could be stupid enough to think the guy won't get in trouble for her telling something like that to his coworker. Only reason she would tell you that is if she was trying to cause trouble for him.

How can he get in trouble though? If I tell any of my managers, they'll just laugh. And what does she gain from getting this dude in trouble? Also, you have to know this dude to understand this is not outside the realm of possibility, because he's one of those virgin for life. I'm willing to buy it more than I don't buy it, really.

If she were trying to get him fired, she'd have gone to the principal or something. She just wants to ruin the guy's reputation, I would think. And I have no idea why she'd want to bother him, teenagers are crazy like that. Maybe she did have a crush on him and he turned her down for all I know. It just sounds like a typical "teen trying to get disproportionate revenge" thing that I always saw when I was in high school. People would accuse teachers of all sorts of wrong-doings for revenge.
Maybe I just want to a ****ty high school (I did), but I tend to give teachers the benefit of the doubt when students accuse them of things.
