I stopped at chapter 4 last time, but picked it back up to finish it before I play Disgaea 4. I wasn't super crazy into it when I put it down, but now that I've learned all of the mechanics and actually understand the game... Jesus tap dancing christ. This is remarkable.
PS2. I'm pretty much just going to finish the story. (Getting the best ending, assuming it doesn't require tons of post-game to get) I'm pretty much just focused on "finishing" the game as soon as I can (while not rushing and enjoying the game, that is) and moving on to Disgaea 4, which I expect I'll sink hundreds of hours into. >_>
Marvelous. I definitely don't want to cut corners or rush in a game like this, but at the same time Disgaea 4 seems to be bat*** insanely awesome, so I'd like to get to that at a reasonable pace. Anyway, Disgaea 4 won't even arrive at my place until Monday, so I have all that time to play Disgaea 1 untempted. >_>
