sanchez now has six 4th quarter comebacks in 36 career games

also it's apparent that nobody watched the texans, lions, browns, or colts games last year when sanchize put the team on his back and led them to victory

because if anybody had watched those games they would know how stupid they sound for hating on sanchize

Yeah, Sanchez really isn't a good QB.

Except in QB-heavy fantasy leagues where you're rewarded for pass attempts/completions.

i'd be shocked if this wasn't sanchize's record for pass attempts in a game by at least 8

if you get points for attempts, he's literally the worst qb to have

pick up newton or something, he'll be slinging it 50 times a game while the panthers are down 24

The Sanchez I know is about Jake Plummer tier, but again, this is the Dallas Cowboys, so it doesn't really matter. They'll lose the game for you.

Who blows an assignment like that with that much time left in the game?
Who has a 1st and goal at the 1 with a 24-17 lead and comes out of it with nothing?
Who fumbles the ball at the 1 when all you have to do is hold on to the ball and you kick a FG and the game is pretty much over?
Who has penalty after penalty in the last minute or so to screw up a final chance at a FG to tie the game?
Who drops a potential int when the Mark Sanchez tries to give the game back to you, in the trademark Sanchez style?
Who throws an INT with a TERRIBLE throw with the game tied like you don't care?
Who has ALL of these things happen in the span of 5 minutes?

Dallas Cowboys, son. They find a way to lose, every year. It's what they do.

I'm not a Jets fan at all and even I agree that Sanchez seems pretty clutch. He's saved by having a good defense behind him though. His mistakes would be way more costly if the Jets D gave up points after them.

That being said, HUGE win by the Bears today! Absolutely wrecking a Falcons team that all the talking heads had in the top 5 of the league. Plus the vegas "sharps" betting the under on 8.5 wins for the Bears so hard that it actually dropped to 8. Hope they all go bankrupt.

ESPN's new QBR has Ryan Fitzpatrick as the top QB of the week so far. Really it's matching up with the standard passer rating on the extreme ends, and it only gets interesting to look at when you see that QBR actually says Mark Sanchez was awful, even though QBR seemed to be based heavily on WPA and, therefore, clutch performances. It looks like it actually favors EPA, which Sanchez is terrible with.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6943920/nfl-week-1-total-qbr-leaders

It would sure help if QBR wasn't a black box. I can't find a formula for it anywhere, and I'm not even sure there is one.

Yeah, I don't think it's wise to take a whole lot from Week 1 just due to the unusual circumstances surrounding the season. It's going to take a couple weeks before some teams really start putting things together.

Gonna see lots of injuries this year, too.
