Toss the Turtle

This game is pretty fun I think, takes an awful long time to get all the best equipment and all the badges though, which is why I thought this would be the perfect time to do it. I will be going on vacation, so you guys will have well, almost a week, and you might want to use it wisely! Some of the medals are very useful but require a bit of work, squishing so many goombas, catching on fire, one of the medals even requires you to play the game for 5 hours! Now I'm not 100% sure you have to be playing, perhaps you can just leave the game on? Not entirely sure, I personally haven't tested this.

However, the point of the game, you're shooting a turtle out of a cannon, trying to get a good distance. The further you get, the more things you squish and collect along the way, the more money you get. With that money you can upgrade your cannons, guns, and other things, all of which will help you shoot your little turtle even further. Don't worry about the turtle, he secretly likes it. Game is slightly graphic for those that are worried about that.

Sorry Luster, you're the next one to be eliminated, perhaps if you were here more than half the time you might have had a chance. Also for those that haven't already read, Ayuyu took himself out of the challenge as well. Two birds, one stone. I guess if there is a bright side to people just taking themselves out, it's that I don't have to come up with quite as many challenges.

All you need for Kongregate is a username, password, dob, and email address. They won't send you any junk mail unless you leave the box checked, I promise, I've had a Kongregate account for just about ever now. As for Newgrounds, I assume it's the same, don't know though. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Terrible game IMO.

I liked really having to sit and focus on doing well in all the other games, especially for Too Many Ninjas. This is the opposite, I'm letting the game run right now while I do more interesting things and in a couple of minutes I'll tab back in and use a GG shot to keep the turtle going.

I'm not necessarily looking for games that require perfect focus for long amounts of time, but I would at least like looking at the screen for the entirety of a round to be a requirement.

Well the scores are in, and again I am very impressed with a lot of these scores. A goodly amount of you were able to achieve the Hard trophy which required a score of over 3 million, which I myself was just barely able to do, and yet a good chunk of you went well over it, pretty sure if I were in the competition and not the host, I'd be out by now, heh. That being said there were a few scores not submitted and one score turned in at exactly 3pm est, that was ctes. Those who were here recently know that couple people on Yellow must have forgotten? I only kind of blame myself for making the challenge so long, nothing I could do though and I did tell you guys plenty of times, and hey, everyone on Brown seemed to remember just fine.

Brown Team takes this challenge without much trouble due to Yellows lack of participation. If you do the math though, if the 3 that didn't participate could have accumulated just over 12,565,834.9 they would have won. That's roughly 4.2 million a piece. Looking at these scores, very doable. So Yellow, you kind of did it to yourself, yet again. You have potential to win these things, you just need to get your scores in!

So Yellow, tribal council once again. You can vote anyone but Dexter28 whom I should mention, had the highest score of everyone, it's a shame his team lost.

Got that score while doing some light reading. That's how utterly stupid that game was.

Can we please only have games where top score is determined by who plays the best instead of who is lucky enough to not get hit by unavoidable death the longest?

yeah that game was 100% luck once you got all the upgrades, even if I ran out of ammo I had like 150 nukes

I built up about 200 nukes but never had the time to play after the second day of the challenge and literally every run had me dying early to airborne mines or ufos

It might have been slightly less terrible if they had capped the nuke count. I was rolling with around 500, so on score runs I'd just spam them to try and keep the turtle off the screen as long as possible.
