Oh it's hate for me. Couldn't get into the show at all. Didn't like any of the characters except Zoro and Sanji and even they weren't enough to keep me watching after a while.

You make a point, but at the same time it's really hard to imagine OP without at least the crew members considering how they're all important to the plot almost on the same level.

I think around Alabasta is when I finally gave up on the show. Or maybe it was the Skypeia arc. Whichever one came later.

Oh, I see. I started watching it around Water 7/Enies Lobby (probably the best arc) and then I went back to the previous episodes. I had already grown attached to the show and the characters by then, don't know if I would've liked it as much if I had watched it from the beginning though.

Still, if Skypiea/Alabasta didn't do it for you, I guess you just can't get into the show.
