I'm fairly certain he's written a comic or two. Although they may just be adaptations of some of his stories. I don't know if he had anything to do with the Wild Cards comics but there are those. He's definitely a fan of comics in general although I'm not sure if he actually keeps up with them today.

The Long Price Quartet is great. And all he wrote before that was short stories, so you could say "he was a fine writer before he started writing novels."

This pairing does have a precedent in the form of Wild Cards though, so it's something to use as a point of reference. No idea if it'll suck or rule but we have that as a gauge.

I confused him for David Anthony Durham. That's who I meant.
