Hey all this is Bartz btw.

I did kegels for the first three and the final one! I meant to ask who was ACTUALLY doing them with me at one point...but alas.

Introducing kegels was one of the bigger laughs, but I think the bit about ties playing basketball for the Heat worked the best; it had some claps through-out its laughter. Da-da--da-da-da regretting it was a keeper too. The worst-landing one was the McNuggets-bit when comparing telemarketing to McDonald's, which I sorta expected.

From one stand up comic to another, not bad! You're at least able to flow your material together into a cohesive line of jokes unlike me and my trail mix style of comedy, and crowd's appreciate that. The last draft you posted looks pretty damn good.

i am not black turtle as i did not win the guru

I think a simple thing that helped out the second draft a lot is switching the order of the bits about ties and Texas; it allowed me to rip into telemarketing awhile longer before saying it's not all bad, compared to just bouncing back and forth about how I feel about telemarketing.

There's a chance I'll be performing again Sunday, so -- if I do -- I'll continue improving this set and keep the topic open!


Also, no word yet on the video or even pictures.

i also have a new story at work that would give me a new bit to try: my shift manager just got arrested for multiple broken laws.


He missed half of work on Monday since the fuel-pump on his car wasn't working right, then missed all of yesterday for unknown reasons...until today. We then found out he was arrested for the following:

--> DUI (his fourth, apparently)
--> Implied Consent Violation
--> Driving While Privileged Revoked
--> Failure to Obey Traffic Control Devices
--> Failure to Provide Evidence of Compliance with Financial Responsibility Law
--> Evading arrest in a motor vehicle

I'm just glad to hear his fuel-pump works again.
