For a good while. Probably about the same time as you. My sister literally jumped, and then she had her hands up by her face basically until the scene was over. Craziness.
All of the deaths were pretty spectacular, but the one that stuck with me the most was probably Bryan Cranston's character. From the way the scene played out you knew he was going to die, but how it happened took me by surprise, and stuck with me for a while. And then there was the elevator scene... I think that one is going to be talked about for a LONG time.
I was uncomfortable during the entirety of the elevator scene. The whole time I knew something was going to happen, but I just didn't know when and so like... the whole time they kissed I was expecting that dude to like blow her head off or something. I don't think a movie has ever made me that anxious.
also, heard a great theory today that the Driver has some degree of autism. It makes so much sense

I didn't have any real opinion of him going into this movie, but after seeing him in this movie I'm impressed. The rest of the cast is damn good too, like you said.

Yeah, it's quite an incredible movie and you made a pretty huge mistake coming here. I was no fan of Ryan Gosling either, but his role in this movie could make a fan out of anyone.
Movie was so boring. I keep hearing everyone say "The acting was great! Blah" No one ran more than 4 words together the entire movie. It was crap. I wanted to walk out so bad. The death scenes were ok at best, I have seen better and more gripping ones in a B-rated zombie movies, however.
So overrated. I can't believe people love this so much.
