I saw this a few days ago during TGS, but I never posted a topic about it! Figured it couldn't hurt to bring to the attention of people here, even if almost no one likes these games!

I don't think there are too many details right now. The battle system is supposed to be real-time now instead of turn-based, and it's being made with tablet PCs in mind, but will run on low-end computers and laptops. ROTK the best.

I've only heard about this series, but DW7 made me interested in the era. I'll keep an eye on this one.

I played Romance...7 I think for the PS1 a long time ago and was confused. I should try the series again.

I'd recommend people check out ROTK 11 -- it's readily available and the most modern of all the games. It's definitely complex, though.

neat. I haven't touched the franchise since X on the PS2, but it's nice to see it's still kicking. you say it's being developed with tablets in mind -- have platforms been announced? i'd love some more strategy games on my iPad.

I don't believe they've announced the platforms, other than PCs. The iPad would be a good fit for the game, though, so I imagine it'll probably make its way there eventually.

If people like the setting and want some actual strategy (and RPG elements in some of the games), you should try it. Its one of the better strategy games out there. Kinda takes some time to understand everything going on though, so its no where as user friendly as DW.

meh. I love the RPG type games in the series, like X, but even the ruler based ones I kinda like if they are turn based. Real time= instant turn off. I don't like real time strategy games at all.
