I didn't get carded the FIRST time I ever bought liquor. Hell I still don't get carded half the time and I know I still look like I'm 16...maybe 17 if I haven't shaved in a while.

I honestly think they just assume I'm older because no one with my face would even bother trying a fake.

They probably thought you were a new father because of what you were buying. Nobody would have carded you for a cigar and a lotto ticket.

My wife's cousin tried buying cigarettes at CVS and they wouldn't sell them to her even though she was like 20 at the time and had ID. The problem was, she's like 4 feet tall and really young-looking, especially when she doesn't have makeup on which she didn't at the time.

IIRC they made her leave because she kept yelling about how they were "trampling her rights".

Where I worked our cashiers were supposed to say they cant serve them but they can get a manager, and give them the card back.
