I know a lot of this GOP support would dry up if Ron Paul weren't the candidate, but it's got to look bad for Obama if he can't even get a majority on Board 8.
Are there any polls in regards to Obama and Ron Paul from Board 8 in 2008 (which is presumably what the base for this is)

Edit: Not sure what to do with Nader's numbers. He got 6 votes there as well. In theory they should go to Obama, but in theory Paul's numbers should to to other Republicans instead of Obama as well, but that's not how people here claim they'd vote.

I'd give Nader and Colbert's numbers to Obama/liberals.
A few months ago I did a series of head to head polls between Obama and others, and he beat Ron Paul by one vote. He won against all the major current Republican candidates though, and several past Republican presidents. Then he ran into Eisenhower and got stomped 90-10.

I wouldn't give the Colbert numbers to anyone. If they're likely to joke vote then, they're likely to joke vote now, regardless of what their politics are. And the point of me posting the poll was to show that Obama barely getting a majority now isn't a signal of a sea change on Board 8 or anything, since it's on par with the numbers he got back in 2008.
