so my buddy and I were duo-queueing and we won a game of dominion after holding them off for 2 and a half minutes with 3 towers to come back from being down 150-2 and won 1-0

To be fair though it was after we'd had like 5 complete games where he connected in time so it was clearly a fluke occurrence. Wonder how fluke it actually is, though...

Having seen them and arguing with some of them like 10 times, I think FD's Singed tips are pretty much:

- start with philostone, upgrade into the tenacity later
- get boots of +3
- get banshee's then play it by ear based on what you need to counter the enemy team/help yours.

This isn't entirely accurate strategy for your ELO though imhhho. For ELO that's not in the 1600 range you want to rush RoA (no philostone, you won't need it cause you can brute force farm a ton), get boots of +3, and then pubstomp by getting defenses appropriate to the enemy team (and usually forget the banshee's unless they're loaded with CC, cause you want them to waste CC on you).

If you're totally outmatched in lane (vs least one ranged dps + 2 stuns/immobilizes and without backup that has good synergy) you probably wanna go with the FD strategy though cause you can't really farm or bully people out of the lane too easily which you can do against most setups at lower elos. Least this is my experience.

Oh who knows if he has specific Singed tips on Dominion I was talking SR there.

I think JC's closer to right there. You can probably just stack RoAs with some minimal defensse and go to town. Hell I stacked archangel's staffs as Singed there and while I sucked at first once I built the second one I started wrecking shop.

To be more specific I only get philo when appropriate which currently is probably less than half of the time.

Matchup specific huh? Does it have to do with their ability to control you (as in multiple stuns/immobilizes and lots of dps as I was suspecting?) or not?

God that was a satisfying game.

I really like what I do with her.

Start with boots of swiftness and Lich Bane, for the movement speed. The proc effect on lich bane is really good too. Then get a death cap and crystal scepter.

Lots of damage, and you're fast enough to not die to everything easily. Lot of fun too.

I think people are too willing to die in Dominion.

If you die 10 times in a match, you'll be out for about 5 minutes. In a 20-30 minute game, that is huge. Enormous.

Not to mention, every time you die you're giving up nexus health. If you have 30 deaths on your team, that's 60 nexus health, which is more than 10%. This is also enormous.

Yes, you'll be back in the action faster if you die, but I had a person chat "It's not classic, you don't need to worry about dying."

literally telling his own team to die more. Don't give up kills for free. That is all.

Too many people say kills and deaths don't matter in Dominion, or go suicidal and die trying to solo a point and their only defense is "it's okay it's only dominion lol"

going b is also insanely faster on dominion, so the downsides to going back and healing really aren't that huge

So, Leblanc's actually quite good on Dominion. Build as glass cannon, nuke whoever you're assaulting/is assaulting you, recover or defend as your ult comes back off recharge.

I was playing LoL constantly yesterday and didn't have time to respond to this:

My most likely starting item set ups are:
a) Boots + 2 health pots + 1 mana pot
b) Boots + 3 health pots
c) Mana Crystal + 2 health pots
d) Regrowth Pendant + 1 health pot


And they are either lane opponents specific or specific to the total amount of CC your opponents have, but usually lane specific.

If I see my opponents CC and come to the conclusion that I need a tenacity item then I will USUALLY go with option d) on account of allow me to get the phil stone quickest since it will be necessary for that tenacity item.

BUT it is possible that I will be laning against someone who is almost certain to start with boots or someone against whom I will need the mobility of boots to even stand a chance (see: rumble). And so even if the entire rest of his team is packing hard stuns and I WANT the tenacity item, I will still start with either a) or b) to prevent myself from getting destroyed in my lane.

Additionally I would like to be able to start with c) as often as possible and attempt to make boots + finish catalyst on my first trip, but I can only safely do c) when I feel that having boots in my lane will not be necessary, which is usually against someone who I expect to start with dorans shield or dorans blade.


As it stands I am starting to feel like my singed is not having a large enough impact on the game.

I have won my lane in each game I've been able to pick him and usually quite handily, but for whatever reason the rest of the game has spiraled out of control. I may need to switch to a top champion who can be a stronger tower kill threat to establish map position earlier and not just a champion who can deny the cs/xp of his opponent. It's something I need to put some thought into certainly, because it is EXTREMELY frustrating to lose games as singed when I play my lane to near perfection.

And my amumu games have been going so well because I *have* been impacting a larger cross section of the game, I think. I buy so many wards a game with amumu it is ridiculous. I typically more than double the amount of wards placed by our supports. I also run boots of mobility on him almost exclusively allowing me to reach situations that would have otherwise been too far.

It allows me to hopefully stop bottom lane from bleeding the game away and it also allows me to give red early blue buffs, because for some reason when I play singed instead of jungle we wind up with the jungle who doesn't think anivia needs blue.

But now I'm just rambling so I guess that's it for now.

If anyone else has serious questions about LoL I am more than happy to address them.

Yeah, although I really wish we had won game 15, lol. But it was one of the rare games that it really didn't feel like there was anything more I could have done. I was singed vs garen top and I actually walked away with the first kill. Garen wasn't playing poorly either, I just got a lucky opportunity when he took a bit more poison damage than he should have.

But I wont complain too much, we came out of our 'placement' games very much ahead and so now we just need to keep winning consistently. It is also nice not having the pressure of thinking that the game is going to be worth 45 ELO. Knowing that made each loss a bit more difficult.

Usually jungler. GP is my character of choice, but I jungle other folks a lot too.

I'm talking games like, I secure several ganks and dragon early, and keep the map wawrded if there is no support. However we just... lose mid-late somehow.

Odds are if you're losing mid-late game, the problem is you, or your teammates, aren't very good at team fights.

I'm thinking that's it. I tend to get scared in teamfights and run out a lot, or I'm scared to keep attacking cause I'm taking damage.
