We make the playoffs in pretty much every sport every year, and then lose. Hamels is the only home grown talent that's gonna win the post season for them, the other guys aren't factors yet. And I've never complained about the Yankees and their salary (that's still almost twice as big as our own ridiculous salary). There's no cap, so if you've got the money, use it. It's not the Yankees' fault they make so much more money than any other team. What are they supposed to do, sit on it?
