Board 8 > Holy crap, "Fly" was by far the worst Breaking Bad episode (spoilers)

Okay, yes, I get it, the fly was a metaphor for Jesse stealing the meth. Didn't have to drag it out for an entire episode and make Walter look like a freaking lunatic in the meantime. I know it's a bottle episode and all, but ARGH.

It's a very love-it-or-hate-it episode.

I thought it was one of the worst too, but some people liked it. The main problem is its placement in the season...it's far too slow for when it occurs. It was basically written last minute due to needing a bottle episode, and it kinda shows.

Near the start, when Walter fell trying to get the fly, I thought he was seriously injured and that it would be a major plot point. Gotta admit, it was way too nasty a fall for a 50-year-old cancer patient to just get up from.

I didn't like it as an episode, but I did really like certain scenes in it. Maybe my opinion would change in a rewatch.

Yeah, I get the reasoning behind it but it was literally the only episode where I was kinda bored.
