I'm stuck in this fairly small room after the east gate where you have to climb a order to some pipes that you shimmy across. They bring you to a raised platform with a lever that activates a piston on the ground that looks like it will launch you onto a grabbable ledge. But for me at least the piston doesn't launch me high enough. I checked a walkthrougjh but apparently the room has been changed, I think the ps3 version is the PAL version. Any tips?

I tried jumping in time with the piston but it didn't seem to work, either it wouldn't register or it'd do something wonky. I can try again later today, though.

Holy ****. Yeah. I just beat it tonight. And the part SUCKS. The jump thing is completely random. You got to press jump right as it launches you. I think I finally did it when I noticed Ico crouches down before he jumps and I just happened to time it perfectly right as it was about to launch me. It can be done but man is it a pain. Good luck.

Yeah I managed to get it after a couple tries. I was stuck longer on the watermill part right after. They give you a really short window to make that jump.

I just played through this yesterday actually. Yeah, for that piston part you just have to time it right and jump just as it starts to lower. I guess that doesn't help you now!
